Dora Cruz sewing has been a seamstress since her mother taught her as a child; her mother worked as a seamstress in their home. He made custom furniture and did antique restoration with Nils Johnson at A. John's campus and New York City.
She apprenticed with master gilder Nils Johnson. She is the author of Writing About Architecture: The campus is located on a city block in the rione of Prati and houses both academic, residential and administrative space on four floors.
She has been stitching since a young age and also teaches at J. It is one of the largest social service organizations serving the needs of the homeless and underprivileged in New York City.
John's Manhattan campus houses St. Mariam Aldhahi on the creation of Design Districts and their varying definitions of design. Her colorful, multi-dimensional art journals blur boundaries between collage, printmaking and book arts. His work blends fantasy and contemporary culture, exploring modern interpretations on traditional fantasy ideals and tropes.
We went to Ethiopia and filmed the Ethiopia scenes first. Even the little kids were amazing. She likes to adapt the colors and exuberance of graffiti to her yarn dyeing, and is particularly interested in finding alternatives to dye yarn and wool without chemicals.
Ethiopian culture is often a very tight-knit bond that sometimes can be hard to break through, but the more I showed my admiration and interest in learning about it, the more people began to open up to me. I have always believed that through hard work, you will always fulfill your dreams, working towards the day where you have that breakthrough moment.

She has taught visual arts, crafts, digital and analogue photography, gardening, and jewelry making classes to elementary and middle school students in various programs throughout Massachusetts. Can you share more on how it was received?
Each of these artists has inspired her color perception and composition. This group is made up of instrumentalists including violinists, violists, and cellists, singers, and composers who form small ensembles to perform at the semester concerts.
I recognized the opportunity to share my experiences for the purpose of lifting the consciousness of those in my circle, mostly through music, but also more or less become an ambassador for African-Americans, dispelling stereotypes that black people only rapped and played basketball.
Brooke enjoys making work in her home studio and in public spaces. Her creative background has included design work in jewelry, exhibit, theatre and graphics. I felt that I could make a difference as well as have the mental space to continue to create.
